About Insight Vacations
Insight Vacations is owned by the Tollman family who are passionate about travel and the hospitality industry. Their 100 years of expertise results in exceptional tours exploring an array of destinations, including Europe, North Africa and the USA.
On an Insight Vacations tour, guests travel in style. It begins with a complimentary private door-to-door transfer service from home to departure airport in a chauffeur-driven car (up to 150 miles). During each tour, guests travel on board luxury air-conditioned coaches with double the legroom of a standard coach and complimentary Wi-Fi. They can sit back, relax and enjoy the journey, taking in incredible scenery along the way. The experienced drivers know the best and most scenic routes between each exciting destination. Some tours also involve other modes of transport, including a ferry, train or cruise.
Groups are small with an average of just 33 guests, meaning less waiting around so more quality time spent in each destination. The group is accompanied by a passionate Travel Director who brings each destination to life, sharing their knowledge and travel experiences.
Guests stay in premium hotels in the heart of each destination. In large cities, accommodation is conveniently located close to main attractions, restaurants and shops, while on more rural tours, the view is key. In some destinations, there are unique Insight Experiences, unavailable to the independent traveller, and designed to enrich the holiday. These range from dining in the home of a local in Northern Spain to VIP fast-track entry to the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum.
Cuisine is a key part of any tour and Insight Vacations seeks out the best places to dine and embrace regional produce and celebrated local wines. Their ‘Farm-to-Table’ dining allows guests to enjoy a meal at a restaurant praised for their use of locally sourced ingredients, and the chance to meet farmers and growers. Every tour features a special Highlight Dinner at an acclaimed local restaurant, usually accompanied by entertainment. Exciting cooking demonstrations and the opportunity to dine in the home of a local are included on some tours.
Insight Vacations is committed to protecting and conserving the destinations it visits which is why it has partnered with The TreadRight Foundation, an organisation dedicated to safeguarding the planet for generations to come. Some tours include special TreadRight experiences, including the chance to learn about traditional weaving in Italy, and see handicrafts produced by local women in Jordan.
