Windward Barbados Itinerary
Day 1
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Bridgetown, Barbados. On arrival, we transfer to the Radisson Aquatica Resort (4T), set on the beachfront in Carlisle Bay, Bridgetown.
Days 2-3
We have two days to explore Barbados’ wonderful capital. Wander the vibrant streets admiring the old colonial buildings and historic architecture including the grand neo-Gothic parliament buildings and military Garrison. The first day begins with an included excursion exploring the Mount Gay Rum Distillery, to learn of the production of rum on the island, which began here in 1703. Then, with the interesting local culture and relaxing atmosphere, it’s easy to spend hours exploring; visit the Barbados Museum, which depicts the island’s history with exhibitions on the colonial period and slavery; or explore Harrison’s Cave, one of Barbados’ national treasures and a unique experience which sees visitors travel through a collection of spectacular caves formed from limestone rock.
Day 4
This morning is at leisure before we transfer to the port of Bridgetown to embark Royal Clipper (4T). Our ship sets sail this evening.
Day 5
St Lucia is a place of inspiring natural beauty, featuring mesmerising rainforests, banana plantations, glorious beaches lined with lush palm trees and magical waterfalls; and our port of call today, Rodney Island, presents opportunities to explore St Lucia’s beautiful sights and highlights. Stepping ashore, we are welcomed with views of the sparkling clear waters, and the historic streets lined with fishing shacks, lively bars, fine restaurants and rum shops. St Lucia’s attractions include the Pitons, two spectacular volcanic plugs which dominate the island’s coastline; and the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, displaying over six acres of tropical flora and fauna, a breathtaking waterfall and hot mineral spring baths built for King Louis XVI of France.
Day 6
Arrive in dreamy Cabrits, full of tropical forest, beautiful coral reefs, steamy hot springs and stunning wetlands. It is perfect for hiking, especially to the breathtaking Trafalgar Falls, which can also be reached on a scenic boat ride. The twin waterfalls tumble from beautiful rock formations creating both hot and cold mineral rich springs to bathe in, hidden amongst vibrant green scenes filled with ginger plants and vanilla orchids.
Day 7
Antigua’s captivating horseshoe-shaped natural harbour provides a unique insight into the Caribbean’s yachting world. From the harbour, discover the old inns, charming pubs and weather-worn bollards, all of which reflect the region’s naval history. Or, relax on one of the pristine white-sanded beaches admiring both the glistening sea and the surrounding lush-green landscapes.
Day 8
This morning we dock in Basseterre, St Kitts’ wonderful capital and one of the oldest towns in the Eastern Caribbean. You can discover the island’s history at the National Museum. Many attractions include a 125-acre golf course and the treasured Fairview Great House and Botanical Gardens - an impressive 18th century house featuring exquisite interiors and delightful gardens of wonderful flowers, trees and shrubs. Then spend your afternoon on the powdery sands of South Friar’s Bay, perfect for soaking up the warm Caribbean sun.
Day 9
Terre de Haut is the largest island of the eight which form Iles des Saintes; surrounded by calm, clear waters perfect for snorkelling, diving and watersports. Terre de Haut boasts undulating lush-green landscapes and picturesque villages filled with narrow lanes and whitewashed and red-roofed houses. This effortlessly scenic island is ideal for relaxing, whether it be on the glorious beaches or watching life pass by from the harbour.
Day 10
Martinique is bursting with French Caribbean charm and breathtaking natural beauty with Mont Pelée, its crowning glory. The sophisticated island hosts marvellous natural wonders including miles of beautiful beaches, pretty bays and landscapes ideal for hiking. Visit Jardin de Balata, a botanical garden home to 3,000 varieties of tropical plants and 300 types of palm tree; or discover the hulking 17th century fortress of Fort Saint Louis, used by the French Navy as recently as 2014.
Day 11

This historic landmark was built around 1660 by one of the first settlers on the island and now possesses one of the country's superior collections of antiques, showing domestic life on the plantation and the tools for working the land.
